Water on the moon

This is it.
The biggest day of my life.
I am a bit nervous but I will get over it. My name is Cleopatra. I am going to the Moon with my 2 dogs Cristal (that is as active as a wolf) and Lightning (that is as fast as a chita) and of course my three friends Susan, Sarah and Sofia. Our mission is to go and investigate if there is water on the moon. If so, my friends and I will bring a big stone from the Moon to the Earth. Then, we will see how big the Moon is from the Earth and how the astronomers calculate how much water there is.

There is one ton of the top layer of the lunar surface which would hold about 32 inches of water, I was told. Also the twin inpacts on october 9 are now known to have sent 25 gallons of water ice and vapour into the air amongst the debris from 60 to 100 foot wide hole prodused by the rocket. I am also going to take pictures of things I see, like stars, comets, meteors and I really want to see the Milky way. I want to tell you how to see a comet. It is really interesting. Comets can be seen from Earth only when they are fairly near to the sun. Most look like smudges of light, even through telescopes. Some comets have very long orbits which take them far out into the rest of the solar system. They may only be seen from Earth once every few thousand years!

The day we launch

Wow!!!!!!!! I can’t wait until we launch. I am as excited as meeting a Fox.
I am already in the space shuttle with my friends and 2 dogs.
We are off in 1 hour and 30 minutes. I am scared that things mite go wrong.

Sarah is the pilot, Sofia is the navigator and Susan is the other pilot just in case Sara feels sick or she hurts her self.

I hope my dogs don't go mad like a mad hatter.

One hour has passed and only 30 minutes to go. I put all my things in the space shuttle and my boss told me if we go in the right direction we are going to see the Milky way!!!
I love the Milky way because it is so nice to see, and that pieces are the building blocks for new stars. These are some names of milky ways like the Spiral Galaxy, Barred Spiral Galaxy, Irregular Galaxy, Elliptical Galaxy and millions more. It takes 220 million years for our solar system to go once around the centre of the Milky way. Imagine how big the milky way is!

I have my seat belt on and we are going to launch.

In space

7:10am

WOW!!!! I have never seen anything like this, it is beautifuller than a wolf or a lion. Look at all the stars. Look! There is a constellation. I think it's the crown. From Earth looks much smaller but here it is one million times bigger than a blue whale.

7:30am

It has been 20 minutes and I am going to eat disgusting food from a bag. Gross !!! That looks like squashed peas with tomato juice and jam mixed together. Oh my god! It's that orange juice that looks more like squashed banana with orange potato. Aaaaaah!!! That is sooooo not cucumber but spinage with seaweed and a gigantic terrible sprout. How can you eat these stuff?

I feel bad for Sara because she eats and goes to sleep really late and has to wait for Susan until she finishes her food because they take turns driving.

At least my dogs like the food, yuck! I think I will skip dinner for today. Now I will go to sleep.

9:00am

It's morning, I think?

Wow, look at that! Is that Mercury? I think it is. I should ask Sofia. She knows all about Mercury.

Mercury is the nearest planet to the sun-during its orbit. It is between 45.9 and 69.7 million km away. Mercury is the fastest planet orbiting of all the planets, just 88 days. Mercury's surface is covered in impact crate.

9:20am

Look! A comet! Oh my god! Wow! I saw a comet! Look there! Another comet and an other one and another one! I better get my camera.

there. Stand still you little comet, I just want to take a picture. Stand still! Grrrr. There. Got you! Wow! I got a picture of a comet and a good one too. Lets see if I can take another one. There. Owww! I did not get it. Who cares? I already got a really good picture. Look! The moon! Yes, now we can get to work. I better get my space suit.

Sofia and Susan are ready. Sara must get her spacesuit and give the wheel to Susan. The door is opening and I am walking out the space shuttle. Wow! I am as light as a feather. Weeee! This is fun. Okay, lets get to work.

Come! Lets find a spot to get a big rock. Oh my god! This is so heavy! Help me!! Good job Lightning and Cristal! Okey, can you all take it to the space shuttle and put it in the seat by the food, and then take one small moon rock for your self to keep?

The way back to Earth

Today I am going back to the Earth.
I am happy that when I get there, I will eat norman yummy food and not space food in a bag.
It was fun in space but I still like the Earth more.
I better sit down and put my seat belt on because we are going to go really fast.
Oh no! lightning site down! Quickly lightning!!!! No!!!!!!

We landed and lightning just died. This is a terrible day I thought this was going to be the best day ever. It is not!!!
I hope one day when I die, I will go to him in heaven and hug him again and again. I loved him like if I was his mother.
When I go to his grave yard I will put My Moon stone and keep his.
Also let God protect you in heaven.
I will never for get you.
